The ACOPAL will be holding a general meeting at the National Arts Club on Friday, September 10th at 2:00. The meeting is open to all members and I do hope that you will be able to attend. We have made great strides since our last correspondence and we would like to meet with as many members as possible to discuss the details of our progress.
In brief, we have secured our position with the World Art Museum in Beijing as our strategic partner and our inaugural exhibit has been slated for the summer of 2012. In conjunction with an online competition to raise funds, all work to be exhibited in China will be first exhibited at the National Arts Club in the late spring of 2011. Officials from the World Art Museum will be attending the NAC exhibit and this is where we will begin to make the final selections for the 2012 exhibit in China .
I realize that many of you will not be able to attend the meeting. However, if you live in the tri-state area or if you’re visiting at this time, your attendance would be greatly appreciated. As an Honorary Member of the ACOPAL, your involvement is very much needed at this time.
